Australian Council on Children and the Media is a reliable and comprehensive source of information about childrens use of media and healthy development.
This app allows you to access our Know Before You Go Movie Reviews and our Know Before You Load App Reviews which can be found http://childrenandmedia.org.au/
The Know Before You Go Movie Review Service provides descriptions of content of movies, highlighting areas which may be of concern to parents. Qualified child development professionals review all G and PG movies as soon as possible after their release in Australia. Selected M movies which may appeal to younger audiences are also reviewed.
Remember as a parent or carer you know your child best and it is up to you to make decisions as to what is appropriate for the children in your care. Information in these reviews is to help you find age appropriate and enjoyable movies suitable for your child.
